The Commercial Sales Associate is responsible for generating business through outbound sales calls that result in lead generation for the Commercial Credit Manager.
Essential Functions
  • Make 100-300 outbound calls daily to targeted database to identify potential clients
  • Pre-screen & Qualify potential clients.
  • Engage in conversation and establish rapport with client contacts via outbound telephone and email communication.
  • Share information on the Company's Services/Funding Solutions with potential clients.
  • Document and update potential client records based on interactions.
  • Work Closely with Commercial Credit Manager in determining what financial information is required to secure Commercial Credit Approvals.
  • Conduct oneself in a professional and respectful manner with clients & co-workers.
  • Accurately and promptly respond to internal and customer-facing Email and Chat correspondence.
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned.

Skills and Experience
  • Prior outbound phone sales or call center experience preferred.
  • Have the ability to quickly build rapport over the phone.
  • Prior experience in a professional atmosphere with customer interaction.
  • Open to learning and quickly adapts and applies techniques taught.
  • Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
