ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING

3D printer leasing

Industrial additive is a system: printer, post-processing and material handling. Leasing the system rather than buying the printer is how a bureau or a production floor gets to first parts faster.

What we finance

New or used, from any vendor, dealer or auction. Named manufacturers are examples of what this covers, not a limit — if what you need is not on this list, ask.

  • Industrial FDM — Stratasys, Markforged
  • SLA and DLP resin systems — Formlabs, Carbon
  • SLS and powder bed fusion
  • Metal printing — DMLS, binder jet, wire DED
  • Large-format and pellet extrusion systems
  • Post-processing, wash and cure stations
  • Depowdering, sieving and powder handling
  • 3D scanners and metrology
  • Materials, resins and powders
  • Slicing, workflow software and training

Why lease it

01

Prototype turnaround becomes a service you sell

The machine changes what you can quote and how fast. That is revenue, and revenue is the argument for financing rather than waiting.

02

The printer is not the whole cost

Post-processing and powder handling are often half the system. Financing all of it means the machine is actually usable on the day it lands.

03

Technology moves; terms can move with it

Additive changes quickly. A term can be structured so you are not still paying for a platform two generations behind.

3D printer financing questions

Can I lease a 3D printer for my business?

Yes. Industrial FDM, SLA, SLS and metal systems from Stratasys, Markforged, Formlabs and Carbon are leased new or used, and the wash and cure stations, depowdering gear and slicing software go on the same schedule as the printer.

Do you finance metal 3D printers?

Yes. DMLS, binder jet and wire DED systems are financed, including the powder handling, sieving station, inert gas setup and the stress relief or heat treatment equipment a metal cell needs before it can ship a part.

Can I finance a used or dealer-demo 3D printer?

Yes. Used and demo units from dealers, resellers and closing shops are financed the same way new ones are, usually on a shorter term. Freight, installation and the first materials package can be included in the amount financed.

Can a startup service bureau finance a 3D printer?

Yes. A young bureau is underwritten on the owner's industry experience, personal credit, the work already contracted and a down payment. First-machine shops are financed regularly, so apply rather than assume it is too early.
