CAD AND AEC PLOTTERS
Commercial plotter financing and leasing
An architecture, engineering or construction office lives on sets that have to be on the table when the crew arrives. Finance the plotter with the stacker, the scanner and the folding it needs to turn a drawing into a distributed set, and stop sending work to a print shop that closes at five.
What we finance
New or used, from any vendor, dealer or auction. Named manufacturers are examples of what this covers, not a limit — if what you need is not on this list, ask.
- HP DesignJet plotters for CAD and technical drawings
- Canon imagePROGRAF TX and TM series plotters
- Epson SureColor T-series technical printers
- KIP wide-roll production plotters for AEC sets
- Multifunction plotters with integrated scanners
- Roll feeders, dual-roll and multi-roll configurations
- Stackers, folders and set-finishing systems
- Large-format scanners for drawing archives
- Cutting plotters and vinyl cutters
- Ink, bond, vellum, film and media inventory
- Plot management software and print servers
- Delivery, network setup, training and service plans
Why lease it
01
Bring the sets in house
A shop that plots its own sets stops paying per square foot and stops waiting on a courier. The plotter usually costs less per month than the outside printing it replaces.
02
The finishing is what makes it a set
A roll of prints is not a distribution package. Stackers and folders go on the same lease so the plotter produces something a crew can actually use.
03
Ink and media on the same schedule
Consumables and a service plan can ride with the hardware, which makes the cost per set a number you can quote to a client.

Commercial plotter financing questions
Can I lease a commercial plotter?
Yes. HP DesignJet, Canon imagePROGRAF, Epson SureColor T and KIP plotters are leased new or from dealer stock, with the stacker, scanner and finishing on one schedule.
How much does it cost to lease a CAD plotter?
It depends on the roll width, the print speed and whether a scanner or folder goes with it. Send the dealer quote you already have and we will put a payment against it the same day.
Does plotter financing include ink, media and service?
Yes. Ink, bond and film inventory, plot management software and a service plan can be financed with the plotter so the cost per set is one predictable number.
Can a small architecture or engineering firm finance a plotter?
Yes. A firm of a few people is judged on the principals and the work in hand, and a plotter is often the first piece of equipment a young practice finances.
