SHIPPING CONTAINERS

Shipping container financing and leasing

A container is the cheapest square footage a business can add and the fastest. We finance storage containers, ground-level offices, refrigerated units and modified builds — new one-trip or used cargo-worthy — for contractors, farms, retailers and for companies building a rental fleet of their own.

What we finance

New or used, from any vendor, dealer or auction. Named manufacturers are examples of what this covers, not a limit — if what you need is not on this list, ask.

  • Standard dry containers — 10 ft, 20 ft, 40 ft and 40 ft high cube, new one-trip or used cargo-worthy
  • Ground level offices, container offices, break rooms and combo office and storage units
  • Refrigerated and insulated containers, plus cold storage and freezer conversions
  • Modified containers — roll-up doors, man doors, windows, HVAC, electrical, shelving and racks
  • Container-based shops, restrooms, guard shacks, gyms, kitchens and pop-up retail
  • Chassis, tilt beds, roll-off systems and container delivery trailers
  • Container handling — reach stackers, side loaders, telehandlers and forklift attachments
  • Foundations, ramps, stairs, security bars, lock boxes and paint
  • Rental fleets for companies leasing containers out to their own customers
  • Delivery, placement, permitting and multi-unit orders

Why lease it

01

Storage that costs less than a building

A container is secure, wind and watertight space delivered to the site in a day. Financing turns even a multi-unit order into a monthly payment rather than a capital purchase.

02

Modifications on the same lease

Roll-up doors, HVAC, electrical, insulation and shelving are often half the cost of a finished unit. Those go on the same lease as the container instead of coming out of the job's cash.

03

Fleets for container rental companies

If you rent containers out, the fleet is your revenue asset. Financing lets the fleet grow on payments the rental income covers, which is how most container rental companies scale.

Shipping container financing questions

Can I finance shipping containers to rent out to customers?

Yes. Container rental fleets are financed as revenue-producing equipment, in single units or in batches, so a rental company can add inventory on payments the rental income covers instead of buying the fleet out of cash.

Do you finance used shipping containers?

Yes. Used cargo-worthy and wind-and-watertight containers are financed the same way new one-trip units are, from dealers, depots and resellers, and the delivery and placement can be included in the amount financed.

Can I finance a modified container office or cold storage unit?

Yes. Ground-level offices, refrigerated containers and custom modifications such as roll-up doors, HVAC, windows, insulation and electrical are financed with the container, so the finished unit arrives on one payment.

How many containers can I finance at once?

Single units and multi-unit orders are both normal. Contractors often finance one or two for a jobsite while rental companies and distributors finance batches, and a container purchase generally starts at a ten thousand dollar minimum transaction.
