Woodworking equipment financing questions
Can I finance a CNC router for my cabinet shop?
Yes. CNC routers and nesting cells from Biesse, SCM, Homag, Thermwood, ShopSabre and Laguna are financed new or used, and the tooling, vacuum pump, dust collection and CAM software can be written into the same lease as the machine.
Do you finance woodworking equipment for a startup shop?
Yes. A shop in its first year or two is looked at on the owner's trade experience, personal credit, the work already contracted and a down payment. Startup cabinet and millwork shops are financed regularly, so a young company is worth an application.
Can I finance used woodworking machinery from an auction?
Yes. Used panel saws, edgebanders, moulders and sanders from dealers, liquidations and auctions are financed the same way new machines are, usually on a shorter term, and the rigging and freight to get the machine into the building can be included.
Does woodworking equipment financing cover installation and tooling?
Yes. Freight, rigging, electrical hookup, dust ducting, tooling and software are financed with the machine rather than paid out of working capital, which matters because on a router or an edgebander that setup cost is a real fraction of the purchase.
