ARCADE & AMUSEMENT EQUIPMENT
Arcade and amusement equipment financing
A game room is bought all at once and earns a few dollars at a time. Redemption games, cranes, simulators and the card system that runs them have to be on the floor before the doors open, and the best-earning pieces are replaced every few years as new titles arrive. Financing pays for the floor out of the play it earns.

Why lease it
01
The games are paid for in play
An arcade earns from card swipes every hour it is open. A lease with a fixed monthly payment over three to five years sets the cost of the floor against that play, so the games are paid for out of the revenue they bring in rather than out of the opening budget.
02
Keep the floor fresh
A redemption game earns best in its first few years, and guests notice a room that never changes. Leasing lets an operator trade titles out or add new ones at the end of a term, instead of owning a floor of games that have stopped earning.
03
Games, card system and counter on one agreement
Games from several manufacturers, the cashless card system, the prize counter and installation can be financed together, on one distributor's quote or several. Arcade equipment is Section 179 property. Buy on a $1 buyout lease or an equipment finance agreement and it can be expensed in the year it goes into service, subject to your own tax position and your CPA's advice.

Questions operators ask before financing arcade equipment
Can I finance arcade games for a family entertainment center?
Yes. Arcade equipment financing from American Capital Group covers redemption games, claw cranes and merchandisers, video and driving games, virtual reality attractions, pinball, cashless card systems and prize counters, new or used, for family entertainment centers, bowling centers, trampoline parks, restaurants, bars and route operators. Smaller game packages are approved on an application alone, with no financial statements up to $150,000, and full game rooms are quoted on a short financial package.
How much does it cost to lease arcade machines?
The payment depends on the games, their age, the term and the end of term option you choose. Four cranes and a basketball game on a three year lease is a very different agreement from a sixty game room with a card system over five years, so send the distributor's quote through the form on this page and we return real numbers, usually the same business day. Financing starts at $10,000 of equipment.
Can I finance used or refurbished arcade games?
Yes. Used and refurbished games from a distributor, a dealer or another operator qualify, subject to age and condition. We pay the seller directly once the agreement is signed, and new and used games can be combined on one agreement.
Can a new arcade or entertainment center finance its game room?
Yes. An owner opening a new arcade or family entertainment center with a signed lease on the location can finance the games against personal credit, experience and the business plan. We fund start-up operators regularly, and the first payment can be set after the games are installed and the doors are open.
