BOX TRUCKS & STRAIGHT TRUCKS

Box truck leasing and financing

Box truck leasing gets the truck lettered and loaded without tying up the cash a growing route needs. We finance new and used straight trucks from 16 to 26 feet, cutaways and step vans, refrigerated bodies and liftgates — single trucks for a first contract or a fleet for an expanding delivery operation.

What we finance

New or used, from any vendor, dealer or auction. Named manufacturers are examples of what this covers, not a limit — if what you need is not on this list, ask.

  • Class 6 and 7 straight trucks — Freightliner M2 106, International MV, Hino L Series
  • Cabover box trucks — Isuzu NPR-HD, NRR and FTR
  • Non-CDL trucks at 26,000 lb GVWR with 24 and 26 foot bodies
  • Cutaway and step van chassis — Ford E-450 and F-59, Ram ProMaster, Mercedes Sprinter
  • Dry freight bodies — Morgan, Supreme, Rockport, Wabash Duraplate
  • Refrigerated bodies with Carrier Supra and Thermo King units
  • Liftgates — Maxon, Tommy Gate, Waltco, Palfinger
  • Electric box trucks — Rizon, Ford E-Transit, Mullen ONE and charging
  • E-track, shelving, ramps, load bars and interior build-out
  • Used, off-lease and ex-rental fleet trucks

Why lease it

01

Add trucks as the routes come

Routes arrive one at a time and so should the trucks. Financing lets you put a truck on the road for the contract you just won rather than the one you hope to win next year.

02

Body, liftgate and chassis on one lease

A chassis, a body from an upfitter and a liftgate from a third supplier is three invoices for one truck. They go on one lease and come out as one payment.

03

Own the truck at the end

Full-service rental never stops billing and never hands you a title. A lease that ends in ownership turns the same monthly money into equipment on your balance sheet.

Box truck financing questions

Can you finance a box truck for a new business?

Yes. New trucking and delivery businesses are financed regularly, usually on the strength of the owner's work history, the contract in hand and a down payment. It is worth applying rather than assuming a new authority rules you out.

Do you finance used box trucks?

Yes. Used and ex-rental box trucks are among the most commonly financed units in this category, from dealers, auctions and private sellers. Mileage and body condition affect the term more than the model year alone.

Can a liftgate and a refrigerated body go on the same lease?

Yes. A liftgate, a reefer unit, shelving and any other upfit can be written into the same lease as the chassis and body, even when they are invoiced by three different suppliers.

Do I need a CDL to finance a 26 foot box truck?

Most 26 foot box trucks are built at 26,000 lb GVWR specifically so they can be driven without a CDL, and financing does not require one either. What matters to the lease is the business and the truck, not the class of license.
