Cinema projector financing questions
Can I finance a digital cinema projector?
Yes. RGB laser projectors from Barco, Christie and Sharp NEC are financed new or used, along with the media server, TMS, lens set and the install and alignment that put the image on the screen.
Can I finance a laser retrofit for an existing lamp house?
Yes. Laser phosphor conversions and lamp-house replacements are financed on their own, without replacing the whole projector. Theaters usually finance the retrofit because the lamp and power savings offset the payment.
Can seating, sound and screens go on the same lease as the projector?
Yes. Recliners, premium seating, immersive and object-based audio, amplifiers, speaker systems, screens and masking are financed together with projection, which is how most auditorium refreshes are actually bought.
Can an independent single-screen theater finance equipment?
Yes. Independent and small-chain operators are financed regularly. Underwriting looks at the operator's credit, time in business and the location's history rather than requiring a national circuit behind you.
