PRECIOUS METALS

Gold refining equipment financing and leasing

Every gram a refiner recovers in-house is a gram not paid to an outside refinery. The induction furnace, the refining cell, the scrubber that makes it legal and the XRF analyser that proves the purity are one system, and it pays for itself in refining fees kept. Finance the system as one lease and keep the margin.

What we finance

New or used, from any vendor, dealer or auction. Named manufacturers are examples of what this covers, not a limit — if what you need is not on this list, ask.

  • Induction melting furnaces and tilting furnaces
  • Aqua regia refining systems with fume scrubbers
  • Electrolytic gold and silver refining cells
  • Fire assay furnaces, cupels, crucibles and assay balances
  • XRF precious metal analysers — Thermo Niton, Olympus Vanta, Bruker
  • Fume hoods, wet scrubbers and acid-neutralisation systems
  • Ingot moulds, graphite crucibles and casting machines
  • Rolling mills, wire drawing and jewellery casting equipment
  • Karat testers, density balances and metal verification kits
  • E-waste and catalytic converter precious metal recovery lines
  • Jewellery store, pawn shop and bullion dealer refining set-ups
  • Safes, vaults and secure handling equipment

Why lease it

01

Keep the refining fee

Sending scrap to an outside refiner costs a percentage of every lot plus the wait. A furnace, a refining system and an analyser in your own back room recover that fee on every lot from the first month, which is usually more than the payment.

02

Scrubbers and hoods on the same lease

The scrubber and fume hood are what make an aqua regia system legal to run, and they cost as much as the refining cell. One lease covers the process equipment and the environmental equipment together, with the install as a soft cost.

03

Know the purity before you pay for it

An XRF analyser at the counter settles what a piece is worth before it is bought. Financed with the refining line, it is a small addition to the payment and the largest single protection against overpaying for scrap.

Questions refiners and jewellers ask before financing equipment

Can I finance a gold refining system for my jewellery store?

Yes. American Capital Group finances aqua regia and electrolytic refining systems, induction furnaces, fume scrubbers and XRF analysers for jewellery stores, pawn shops, bullion dealers and scrap refiners. Most systems are approved on an application alone, with no financial statements up to $150,000.

Is an XRF precious metal analyser eligible for leasing?

Yes. Thermo Scientific Niton, Olympus Vanta, Bruker and other handheld and benchtop XRF analysers are financed on their own or with a refining line. They are Section 179 property, so a purchase on a $1 buyout lease can usually be expensed in the year it goes into service.

How much does gold refining equipment cost to lease?

The payment depends on the equipment and the term. A benchtop furnace with an XRF analyser is a small lease; a full aqua regia line with scrubbers, hoods and neutralisation is a larger one. Quote the actual system with the form on this page and we return real numbers, usually the same business day.

Can e-waste and catalytic converter recovery equipment be financed?

Yes. Shredders, separators, furnaces and chemical recovery lines for recovering gold, silver, palladium and platinum from electronics and catalytic converters are financed on the same terms, including the environmental controls they run with.

Know what you need?

An application takes a few minutes and most decisions come back the same day. If you would rather see a payment first, the calculator gives you a range without asking for anything.
