SEWER JETTERS
Sewer jetter financing and leasing
A jetter clears a line with water pressure where a cable machine only opens a hole in the blockage. For a plumber or a drain contractor it is the machine that turns a service call into a hydro jetting job, and a trailer unit costs as much as a service truck. Financing pays for it out of the jobs it makes possible.

Why lease it
01
The jetter bills by the job from the first week
Hydro jetting is billed by the job or the hour, at more than a cable call, and restaurants, property managers and municipalities buy it on a schedule. A lease with a fixed monthly payment over three to five years sets the cost of the unit against that work.
02
Stop subcontracting the jetting
A drain contractor without a jetter hands the grease lines, the roots and the main line work to someone who has one. Financing puts the machine in the fleet now, with the camera and the nozzles on the same agreement, so the job and the customer stay in house.
03
Deduct the jetter the year it is delivered
Jetters, cameras and the truck that carries them are Section 179 property. Buy on a $1 buyout lease or an equipment finance agreement and it can be expensed in the year it goes into service, subject to your own tax position and your CPA's advice.

Questions contractors ask before financing a sewer jetter
Can I finance a trailer jetter or a truck mounted jetter?
Yes. Sewer jetter financing from American Capital Group covers US Jetting, Mongoose, Harben, Spartan, HotJet and O'Brien trailer jetters, truck and van mounted jetters, hot water units, inspection cameras, nozzles and locators, new or used, for plumbers, drain cleaning and septic contractors, utility contractors and private companies serving municipalities. Most jetters are approved on an application alone, with no financial statements up to $150,000.
How much does it cost to lease a sewer jetter?
The payment depends on the jetter, its age, the term and the end of term option you choose. A used trailer jetter on a three year lease is a very different agreement from a new truck mounted unit with a camera system over five years, so send the dealer's quote through the form on this page and we return real numbers, usually the same business day. Financing starts at $10,000 of equipment.
Can I finance a used sewer jetter?
Yes. Used jetters from a dealer, an auction or another contractor qualify, subject to age, hours and the condition of the pump and engine. We pay the seller directly once the unit is inspected and the agreement is signed.
Can a new drain cleaning company finance a jetter?
Yes. A plumber or drain cleaner starting a company can finance a jetter against personal credit and experience in the trade. We fund start-up contractors regularly, and the first payment can be set after the unit is delivered and working.
