WHEEL LOADERS
Wheel loader financing and leasing
A wheel loader is the machine every yard runs all day: loading trucks at the aggregate pit, feeding the crusher at the recycling plant, moving mulch at the landscape supply, clearing snow at the depot. It earns every hour it runs, and financing it puts that earning ahead of the purchase price.

Why lease it
01
A loader that pays for itself by the load
Every truck a loader fills is billable. A lease spreads the cost of the machine over five to seven years and the loads it moves in that time cover the payment many times over, without pulling the purchase price out of the yard's working capital.
02
Right-size the fleet as the work changes
A yard that needs a 950 this year may need two 938s next year. A fair market value lease lets you return the loader at the end of the term and size the next one to the work, instead of selling a machine that no longer fits.
03
Deduct the machine this tax year
Wheel loaders and attachments are Section 179 property. Buy on a $1 buyout lease or an equipment finance agreement and the whole machine can be expensed in the year it goes into service, subject to your own tax position and your CPA's advice.

Questions yard managers ask before financing a wheel loader
Can I finance a wheel loader for a landscape supply, aggregate or recycling yard?
Yes. Wheel loader financing from American Capital Group covers new and used Caterpillar, John Deere, Volvo, Komatsu, Case and other wheel loaders, compact loaders and their attachments, for aggregate producers, landscape and mulch suppliers, recycling and scrap yards, farms, snow removal contractors and site developers. Most machines are approved on an application alone, with no financial statements up to $150,000, and larger loaders are quoted on a short financial package.
How much does it cost to lease a wheel loader?
The payment depends on the machine, its hours, the term and the end of term option you choose. A used compact loader on a three year lease is a very different agreement from a new mid-size loader with a scale and forks on seven years, so send the dealer's quote through the form on this page and we return real numbers, usually the same business day.
Can I finance a used wheel loader?
Yes. Used wheel loaders from a dealer, an auction house or a private seller qualify, subject to age, hours and condition. A Cat 950 or a Volvo L90 with several thousand hours on it is still a full-time machine for most yards. We pay the seller directly once the loader is inspected and the agreement is signed.
Can I finance the loader and the attachments together?
Yes. Buckets, forks, grapples, snow pushers, quick couplers and onboard scales can share the lease with the loader, and so can a dump truck or a screener bought at the same time. One agreement, one payment and one delivery date for the whole yard.
